I’m not easily offended by the objectification of women — it’s a shitty fact of life and there are better uses of my outrage — but this does it. Equating grown women with diapered babies is bad enough but then there’s Ryan Reynolds’ expression. Straight gross. (Meanwhile the women look drugged, which I suppose is the point.)
I’ve also been disturbed by this subway poster since I first saw it a couple weeks ago. Couldn’t pinpoint exactly why at first - something about the way Ryan Reynolds is grabbing those butts - but Nora sums it up perfectly.
